New Bus route coming to Wereham…. WNCT Ltd (Go To Town buses) has informed the Wereham Parish Council, and have been authorised by Norfolk County Council, to run a service bus through Wereham village in to Downham Market. The 16 seater low floor service bus will travel through Crimplesham, then into Wereham village picking up at the pond. It is also a hail and ride service so can be waved down along Church Road before it exits back onto the A134.This 66 service starts 30th January 2023 and will run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the year and will connect the village to the local town via Stoke Ferry, Wretton and West Dereham.They hope this new service into Downham town centre will be welcomed by the residents of Wereham, it has been backed by Norfolk County Council as part of their tackling rural isolation campaign .If you would like copies of the full leaflet timetable or any further you can contact WNCT Ltd for information direct.
